Colonial Day Set for Sept 28 at Old Santee Canal Park

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Berkeley County’s role in the American Revolution will be in focus as the Berkeley County Museum and Heritage Center, Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust, and Old Santee Canal Park present “Colonial Day and Fort Fair Lawn” on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Santee Canal Park located at 900 Stony Landing Rd. in Moncks Corner. Admission is $10 for adults and children six and under are free.

The event features:

Guided fort tours.
Revolutionary War artillery.
History lectures.
Indigo dyeing.
Colonial music.
Vendors and historical organizations.
Native birds and plants walk.
Food trucks.

As this is a special event, admission with an annual park pass or museum pass does not apply. Dogs are not permitted.
