Overton Beach Park Opens May 23
Beginning May 23, Santee Cooper’s Overton Beach Park, located 5 miles north of Moncks Corner on Lake Moultrie, will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Overton Beach Park offers a variety of outdoor fun including swimming, sunbathing and picnicking. The park has certified lifeguards on duty.
Admission is $5 per person for ages 4 and up. A $100 family season pass includes admission for up to four people per vehicle. Picnic shelters are also available for rent starting at $100. Payments can be made by cash or credit card. The park plans to close for the season on Aug. 1. For more information, call Overton Beach Park at 843-761-8039.
